| weswman | I brought my LMC side panels to my body shop yesterday. He wants to produce a bunch of them without the side marker. Everything else would be almost the same as the LMC panels that Northern Cat had made. You would have the choice of 2 or 3 aluminum darts on each side. With 3 being a little more. The price of these panels would be $1000-$1200 depending on how many people are interested and how many darts you want. Depending on how many people are interested, we could have a mold made right away and produce 4 sets of panels a day. This guy I go to is one of the best in the nation. He's in custom car magazine's all the time and had 3 of his custom car's in the movie Fast-N-Furious 2. Let me know how many of you would be interested. Thanks, Wes |

| Jim S | So you plan on taking the panels that Northern Cat designed and made, copy them, and basically sell them as your own? Have you talked to Northern Cat about reproducing them? If not, seems almost like stealing to me. If permission to use the design has been granted, or you are talking about changing the style is one thing, but just to outright copy it doesn't seem right to me. |
| Norb Schroll | I'd be pretty upset if someone copied my parts. We go through all the expense of R&D, tooling, and then advertising and then have someone take a set and make copies. That's not right at all. I'd also check to see the legal assumptions let alone the moral aspects of it. If the people want the LMC panels, why don't you just purchase them direct? Why go through all the hassle of making new tooling? If LMC doesn't want to manufacture these any longer, then offer to purchase the tooling. Oh I forgot, that would cost money!
